Linkware Templates
What is linkware? In short, linkware is any type of thing that can be used for free - the cost being that you have to provide a link back to the site where the thing was downloaded from.
Here at Design-Sanctuary.com, linkware is comprised of website templates that may be used on commercial and non-commercial sites at no charge to the patron. However, it is not "free". A link (thus the term "link"ware) must be left on the website the template is used to create. It's a small price to pay, and helps us out as much as we hope to have helped you by providing our work.
We've provided below a detailed description of our linkware terms of use - please glance through them. We apologize to the great users who have faithfully downloaded and linked back to us throughout the time we've been online, and don't need these terms of use, but we've had to pursue enough copyright violations that it's now necessary to stress our terms.
Specific Linkware Terms of Use:
* You may not remove the linking text and/or button from the layout you use. Failure to simply leave the link alone is a violation of copyright law.
* Please leave the URL alone - there's nothing worse for a visitor than reaching one of those annoying "404 Error" pages. This reflects poorly on you as a webmaster more than anything else.
* So, you haven't actually started your page yet, and are just downloading whatever takes your fancy? No worries - that's fine, as long as you make a note of where you got the templates from, and remember the before-mentioned terms.
* Most graphics and web designers are quite proficient in browsing the web (it's our business, we have to be good at it) and will eventually find the sites using their work without a link. You have been warned...
* Be careful of copyright issues. Click here to read more.
* Taking some of our graphics out of a layout and replacing them with your own does not mean that you have created a "new" template. It is not an original work. You must still abide by these terms.
Please indicate that you have read and agree to the terms of use before proceeding. If you do not agree, hit "Cancel".
